Market News Analyzer

Introduction

In itself  News Analyzer is a powerful tool to find news.  But it is much more interesting to use it in the concrete area of human activities. Market News Analyzer is the specialized module developed for the analysis of market news. It is delivered with the information for more than 8.000 companies grouped by industries and sectors. Due to this database it is possible to find news for each company, evaluate the news, view the data for the stocks of these companies and based on this information make a decision on the  perspectives of capital investments. Besides the companies, you may add sectors and industries as the key phrases and thus control the situation in the whole branches of economy.

Moreover search and analysis of the news can give a lot of information to the PR departments of the companies to analyze advertising campaigns .

Key Phrases Management

In the Market News Analyzer key phrase is the company.

Add a phrase

In order to add new key phrase  choose "New Key Phrase" icon on the News Analyzer toolbar or right mouse сlick on key phrases list to call pop-up menu and choose "New Key Phrase" menu item. The following form will appear:               

Type in the name of the key phrase, press "Add" button and then press "Ok". New key phrase will be added to the list. 

Edit the key phrase

In order to edit any key phrase from the list point out the phrase you would like to edit and choose "Edit Selected Key Phrase" icon on the News Analyzer toolbar or right mouse сlick on key phrase you would like to edit and choose "Edit Key Phrase" menu item. The following form will appear:

Edit the key phrase, press "Add" button and press Ok. The selected phrase will be edited.

Delete a phrase

In order to delete key phrase from the list point out the phrase you would like to delete and choose "Delete Selected Key Phrase" icon on the News Analyzer toolbar or right mouse сlick on the key phrase you would like to delete and choose "Delete Key Phrase" menu item. Confirmation form will appear. Choose "Yes" to confirm deletion and "No" to cancel it.

Add, edit and delete notes to the key phrases

You can add, edit and delete notes to the key phrases.

Procedure is the same as adding, editing and deleting key phrases (see above). In order to add, edit or delete a note, select a phrase and choose appropriate icons on the toolbar or right mouse click on the notes pane and choose appropriate menu item from the pop-up menu.

Industries and Sectors Management

Add, edit and delete industries and sectors.

Industries

In order to add new industry to the existing list choose "Add Industry" icon on the News Analyzer toolbar or right mouse click on the list of industries and choose "Add Industry" menu item.

New industry will appear in the tree with default name "New Group". Specify the name and press "Enter" key. Now we have new industry in the list.

In order to edit industry choose "Edit Industry" icon on the News Analyzer toolbar or right mouse click on the list of industries and choose "Edit Industry" menu item. Make changes and press Enter key to save the changes.

In order to delete industry choose "Delete Industry" icon on the News Analyzer toolbar or right mouse click on the list of industries and choose "Delete Industry" menu item. Confirmation form will appear. Choose "Yes" to confirm deletion and "No" to cancel it.

Sectors.

Procedure is the same for adding, editing and deleting sectors. Right mouse click on the sector in the list and choose appropriate menu items.

If you choose a sector from the list, toolbar is changed to work with sectors (add, edit and delete sectors).

If you choose an industry from the list, toolbar is changed to work with industries (add, edit and delete industries).

News analysis

You may search news for companies, industries and sectors. 

Search company news.

In order to search news for a company right mouse сlick on the company you would like to search news for and choose "Find News for Company " menu item.

Or press "Find" button and choose "Find News for Company" menu item.

Download progress form will appear.

Press "Close" button and you will be able to read the headlines in the reading pane to the right of the groups tree. Click the headline to read full text.

Search news for industries and sectors.

In order to search news for industry or sector right mouse сlick on industry or sector you would like to search news for and choose "Find News for Industry" or "Find News for Sector" menu items. You can also search the news for all sectors by choosing "Find News for All sectors" menu item.

Or again, press "Find" button and choose required menu item.

Delete news for companies, industries and sectors.

In order to delete news for companies, industries or sectors right mouse click a company, industry or sector you would like to delete news for and choose appropriate item from the pop-up menu: "Clear News for Company", "Clear News for Industry", "Clear News for Sector", "Clear News for All Sectors".

Or you can point out a company, industry or sector you would like to delete news for, press "Clear" button and choose appropriate menu item.
