 News Analyzer is delivered with the some volume of the channels news are presubscribed so you can start to download news for the subscribed channels immediately. (News Downloader is responsible to download news for you.) The most important News Downloader Options have the following setting by default:

It does mean that News Downloader will start to download news via RSS feeds immediately you switch on your computer or install News Analyzer and News Downloader will check every 60 minutes for the news information from the news providers. After the first set of news are downloaded into your news database you can read and analyze them. You can use Silent mode if you should like to hide downloading news process. If the channel demands proxy setting you should set Use Proxy checkbox and set setting according channel specifications. If you change any of options then you have to press "Apply" button. 
After you started your computer you can see News Downloader in the Tray.
Right click mouse at the News Downloader pops up the context menu. Then you can open News Downloader Form, Start or stop downloading news immediately. 
If you open News Downloader form while it downloads news in the Download tab you can see the progress bars with the notes what news provider and channel processed this moment.
 After the news downloaded you can see sometimes the error list. You take into attention that some of the news providers could be on the heavy side so the channel could be not accessible for a while and you can repeat downloading of the dropped channels.
